THE COUNTRY The beautiful Blackfoot River, immortalized in 'A River Runs Through It'. There's no place quite like it - Montana and its wild trout. After a hearty breakfast, spend the day float-fishing 8 to 12 miles down the blue-ribbon trout stream of your choosing. There are two guests per guide, in either a drift boat or inflatable, depending on water levels and conditions. Most of our trips have a riverside base camp that we return to at the end of each day's fishing. June is the month for salmon flies on the Big Hole and Blackfoot Rivers.
